SDS Summer Party: 3D, Interactive and Emerging Display Technologies (ArchTechTonic)
Thursday 12th July 2018
About this event
For the SDS summer party DCL (Design Communications Ltd.) will showcase how new and emerging display technologies can be integrated into the built environment to communicate brand or create unforgettable experiences. Illustrated with case studies from their own portfolio, the talk will cover a broad spectrum of digital media and creative applications – from 3D projection mapping and media facades, to responsive environments and interactive video walls.
As well as stimulating the creative juices, this presentation will touch upon how to plan, budget, clarify infrastructure requirements, and ensure ongoing operation of advanced digital installations.
Based in Boston, MA, DCL (Design Communications, Ltd.) is an award-winning manufacturer of architectural specialties and customised signage for the built environment. Since 1984, DCL has been partnering with architects and designers to provide innovative solutions for projects worldwide. Their services include project management, design-engineering, custom fabrication, and installation.
So join us to be inspired and gain valuable insight in how to go about implementing sophisticated digital installations within buildings and the public realm.
As it’s a party there will be food and drink and plenty of time to network.
